Benswic Track Club competes in it's first cross country meet of the season at Central CT Jaguars Invitational, Bloomfield, CT.

A few of Benswic boys and girls attended at todays cross country meet in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

To start us off was the boys Christopher and Tristan.

Benswic also witness an outstanding performance from the 9/10 Boys 3k. Christopher Marshall and Tristan Bricker started off and ended amazingly!

Christopher Marshall finished 4th overall with the time of 13:55.41 and our NEW COMER Tristan Bricker finishing in 6th overall and PR (personal record) running a 15:19.41.

As our 9/10 Boys and Girls went, we have left Emmanuel Marshall (11/12 Boys) and Xion Bacchas (13-14 Girls).

Emmanuel Marshall, another runner showing courage by running with the front pack and finishing strong, finishing 3rd with the time of 14:03.95.

Xion, moved up to 13/14 competing in the 4K and showed no sign of this interfering of her competing and knocking down a great time. Finishing 2nd overall with the time of 18:21.6 (PR), showed that this is just the beginning of what we’ll see from Xion.

Benswic will return tomorrow at Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx to compete in the USATF XC #1. The race is scheduled to start at 9am.
