Not only direct but educate too!

As a runner growing up, I was never taught to why I did what I did. Nor the benefit. I guess, I just trusted what they told me to do...if it wasn't trust, it was because they were coaches. Either way, definitely a lack of thereof.

I’m a HUGE fan in educating athletes. I never assume each of them are going to remain with me forever. So while they are with me, I give them the what, the why and the how. Allowing them to see the benefit and challenging them to go to that next level of there competition.

 

So, give you attention and teach for a life long lesson…not enough just to tell them what to do.

You can’t swing a tennis racket, golf club or baseball bat, or even throw a ball, without engaging a portion of your core.
