One-Rep MAX

Regarding gyms Reopening, Mayor de Blasio clarified that the earliest that New York City gyms will reopen is September 2nd.
Benswic Fitness ReOpening COVID-19 Harlem NYC Gym

When gyms are able to reopen, conditions will include:

  • Gyms must be inspected by local authorities within two weeks of opening
  • Employees and patrons may only enter the facility if they wear an acceptable face covering, provided they are over the age of two and able to medically tolerate one
  • Capacity must be limited to 33% of the maximum occupancy for a particular area, inclusive of employees and patrons

___

When we return indoors we will have 6 feet areas laid out on the floor to maintain safe social distancing during workouts. Temperatures will be taken before entry. We will only take in 4/5 clients at a time and each class will be 45 mins giving us 15 mins to clean and prepare for the next class. Unlike conventional gyms, we will not have air conditioning on but the back window and front door will remain open to enable better ventilation. In consideration for our Benswic family, please STAY HOME if you are not/have not been feeling well or are experiencing any unhealthy symptoms.

Additional to our reopening, we will offer Outdoor Training and Benswic Run Club.
