We develop campers with detailed instruction to better their event skill, fitness and nutrition.
Benswic offers summer track camp to it's runners, along with the community from the ages 10-18 that are interested in a fun, low-key and challenging running atmoshpere. Which takes place on the first 3weeks of August Monday thru Friday from 8:30am - 1:30pm.
Each day features a slightly different format that allows campers to challenge themselves in a variety of ways. Week 1 we focus on balance, core strength, power, speed and flexibility. Week 2 we focus on plyometrics, strength, agility training and core strength. Week 3 runners will be able to test their fitness and see improvement in there runs –– allowing them to get ready for competitions.
Each camper will be introduced to different things every Wednesday –– specializing outside their norm (i.e. Long Distance runner learning sprint techniques and or hurdles); each will participant in relays; others sports like basketball, basebsall, volleyball, kickball and more; proper running skill; and with the focus on his/her specialized event.

Specialized Event. Track and Field and/or Cross Country focuses on the fundamentals on pacing, speed, techniques and so forth.
Core Development. Strengthen the core muscles, including your abdominal muscles, back muscles and the muscles around the pelvis. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many physical activities.
Muscle Focus. We train the body with "Mini Bands", which gives the body the ability to have stable joints.
Sports Challenge. Individuals will have a chance to compete with others and improve on their own performance with a variety of sports/fitness games all while having a great workout and fun.
