Fuse Academy competed today in the USATF New York Association Junior Olympic Championships held at Icahn Stadium.

We definitely had some PR’s and 4 qualifiers to compete at USATF Regional 1 Junior Olympic Championship held at Albany University. Bryana Marshall made it for the 200m (27.60) placing her 7th overall; Emmanuel Marshall in the Long Jump (3.35); Jordyn Katz in the Long Jump (4.57m) and Abigail Melican in the 2k Steeplechase (8:36.28) and the 800m’s (2:40.84).

First year as a Club Team. Sure didn’t see this coming. Truly honored for all the parents for lending a hand where ever it was needed by assisting practice and encouraging your kids to continue with it.

 

Journey wasn’t easy but definitely prepared for year 2. Albany…here we come 🙂

First Meet as a Benswic Track Club

The Benswic boys and girls cross country teams both came out on Sunday’s USATF XC #1 meet ready to perform.

Last year cross country season we were running under a different name “Fuse Academy” and with 4 runners. Today we’re officially known as Benswic |bens,wik|. We already feel like a team, our runners are focus and ready to prove to themselves they can compete with whomever.
