Benswic Classes

Injury Prevention

We’ve developed this class to be considered “Active Recovery Day” for every athlete that’s been stressing his or her body through games, practice, or any of our classes. This class will be low-intensity training that will help to increase muscle blood flow and recover better and faster. Make sure each is active enough to increase blood flow but gentle enough to allow the muscle to heal.

We’ll develop Mobility, which is the ability to control movement; Flexibility to allow the ability of a muscle to be lengthened to obtain functional movements; Strength to reinforce muscles tendons and ligaments around the joint and protect them from injuries; Endurance that will adequately be conditioned to delay the onset of fatigue; and Motor Control training to regulate or direct the mechanism essential for movement. The training focuses on input, output, and central processing for the organization and production of movement.

We used this to improve athletic performance and appearance by developing each muscles.

Targeted workouts geared toward your fitness goals—training for either a 60m to 5K. Getting you faster, or  top shape—makes a world of a difference with our training. The only class we combine both youth + adults.

Youth performance

In this class each will go through various stages of fitness and performance training designed specifically for any athletes looking to develop his/her performance for their sports.

Benswic Track Club offer it’s services from Ages 6 – 18. We compete in Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track. Competitions are usually on a weekly bases, at times we travel outside of New York.
